The 2027 season: Bonneville T40, BMW F 450 and a collector’s Speed Twin

The Triumph Bonneville T40 looks classic: a round headlight, spoked wheels and a long narrow silencer. Inside, the kit is modern: a round colour screen with maps, cruise control, lean-sensitive ABS and traction control, and five riding modes. There is also a T40 Black with darkened parts.

The figures. A 398 cc single makes 32 hp and 36 Nm. From the factory the motorcycle fits an A2 licence. Weight ready to ride is 191 kg, the seat is 790 mm high, the tank holds 14.5 litres.

When to expect it in Estonia. Both versions are already on the site of dealer Triumph Motodepoo. In Europe the motorcycle arrives in spring 2027.

Price in Estonia: not found. Triumph has promised to announce prices at the start of 2027.

The BMW F 450 R and F 450 RR are a new family for an A2 licence. After the F 450 GS enduro, BMW showed two more models on the same platform. The F 450 R is a light naked in the style of the S 1000 R. The F 450 RR is BMW’s first sports bike in this class: it has wings, looks in the spirit of the S 1000 RR, and the gearbox map can be switched to a race pattern. Both can be ordered with the Easy Ride Clutch automatic clutch.

The figures. A 420 cc twin makes 48 hp and 43 Nm, right at the A2 limit. The F 450 R weighs 175 kg, the F 450 RR 177 kg.

When to expect them in Estonia. European dealers expect them from June 2027. They are not on the Estonian BMW Motorrad site yet.

Price in Estonia: not found. For comparison, in Germany the F 450 R costs from €6,490 to €7,220 depending on the version, and the F 450 RR from €7,250.

The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 TFC is a classic for collectors. It is a limited run of 750 numbered motorcycles in the Triumph Factory Custom line. The base is the Speed Twin 1200 RS. The motorcycle has fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, a titanium Akrapovič exhaust and many carbon parts.

The figures. A 1,200 cc twin makes 105 hp and 112 Nm.

When to expect it in Estonia. Already: the 2027 model is in the Motodepoo price list.

Price in Estonia: €23,490 (dealer Motodepoo).

In short. The 2027 season should be interesting for everyone. Riders who like speed can look forward to the updated Panigale V4 and the returning supercharged Ninja H2. Tourers get the Versys 900 with radar, and beginners get several A2 bikes at once, from the classic Bonneville T40 to the sports BMW F 450 RR. Prices for most of the new bikes have not been announced in Estonia yet. We will watch the dealers and the EICMA show in early November and write about new models as soon as they appear.
