At EICMA 2026 Kawasaki showed the new 2027 Versys 900. It is based on a 948 cc inline four from the Z range: 122 PS and 97.3 Nm. The engine sits in a new steel tube frame. The wheels are 17-inch, on Metzeler Roadtec 01 tyres.
The electronics include an IMU, a quickshifter and a 5-inch TFT with navigation. For the first time a Versys has ARAS systems: adaptive cruise control, a forward collision warning and blind-spot monitoring.
For long trips the seat has two heights, 825 or 845 mm. The screen adjusts through seven positions.
The SE version gets fog lights, hand guards, heated grips and a centre stand.
Prices and timing:
United Kingdom: sales start in April 2027, £10,899. The SE costs £11,799.
There is no price for Estonia yet.
