Visit Estonia recommends the quiet road from Haapsalu to Matsalu National Park. It follows the coast, past sea bays and marshes. Matsalu is called a paradise for people who watch birds.

The route ends in Virtsu, at the ferry to Muhu, so it is easy to join it to route 7.
