A full tank for the winter

If the bike will sit for months, leave the tank almost full. The empty space is air. Air carries water, and water rusts metal.

Do not leave a puddle on the bottom. A little old petrol and a lot of air is a bad pair.

If the manual says to run the tank dry or to add a stabilizer, do what the manual says. This is the simple rule for a home garage.
