If you still ride in winter

A winter road is not a wet summer road. Ice and slush make the stop longer. Leave more room and do not lean in hard.

Keep the light on in the day as well. A black jacket disappears against a grey sky and a dirty car.

If your fingers go numb, stop and warm your hands. A numb hand cannot feel the brake or the throttle. Layers and winter gloves help more than one thick jacket.

Wash the salt off after the ride. Otherwise it eats the chain and the brakes before spring.
